We offer two holiday homes for private hire, both situated in the grounds of the owners' main home. The Chalet can be see to the bottom left of the photo to the right, with the Summer House adjacent and set back from the road. Both properties have views over Portree Bay, looking towards Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillins; the view from Ard Dearg forms the banner to each webpage. |
Chalet

| A small comfortable two person unit above the owners' private garage. Accommodation consists of a living/dining area with balcony, kitchenette, shower/wc, hall and stair. The Chalet has an additional single bed in the loft space (access by vertical ladder) |
SummerHouse

| A comfortable detached unit adjacent to the Chalet and providing the following accommodation for two people: open plan living/dining area on the first floor, with balcony off. The ground floor comprises of a double bedroom, shower/wc, hall and stair. |
General
Both units are all electric (£1 coin meter) and are equipped with crockery, bedding and linen (changed weekly), cooker, microwave, fridge, colour television/video, washing machine and heaters.Ard Dearg is a quarter mile from the village centre, which has all the usual facilities and is the terminus for coaches and taxis. It is situated in a quiet residential area overlooking Portree Bay and garden furniture is provided in the guests' own patio area.
Parking is off the main road and is in front of the Chalet.
Towels can be hired for £5 per week. The management is always available should any advice be required and can arrange to purchase basic groceries in advance of your visit.
